2022 AIPLA PTAB Bench and Bar Conference

AIPLA is hosting a PTAB Bench and Bar event on August 23, 2022 in-person in the Clara Barton Auditorium at the USPTO in Alexandria, VA. The program will include practical guidance on PTAB trials, including a fireside chat with Director Vidal, comments from PTAB Chief Judge Scott Boalick and panels with experienced practitioners and PTAB judges. It will also include a panel of judges from other forums, discussing the how PTAB trials interact with their proceedings. Perhaps most importantly, the program will include one hour of ethics CLE, with a presentation by Will Covey from the Office of Enrollment and Discipline. The event will be followed by cocktails and a networking session. 

WilmerHale Partner Josh Stern will moderate the conference’s Director Review vs. Rehearing vs. Appeal panel discussion.
