Law Seminars International is holding its 27th Annual Seattle Conference on Electric Power in the West. On April 14 at 1:15 p.m. PT, WilmerHale Partner Peggy Otum will speak on a panel titled “State-Level Climate Initiatives on the West Coast: Expansion of the Cap-And-Trade Approach to Pricing Carbon.” The panel will discuss Washington's newly adopted cap-and-trade structure and how it reflects evolution of the issues since California adopted its structure, including a requirement that other states meet Washington's Environmental Justice standards as a condition for linkage.
