As 2021 closes, the ABA Section of Environment, Energy, and Resources’ National Environmental Enforcement Conference will address environmental enforcement developments—both civil and criminal—during the Biden administration’s first year and consider potential future directions for enforcement.

WilmerHale Partner Peggy Otum will moderate the panel Enforcing Equity: Advancing EPA’s Robust Environmental Justice Initiatives on December 14 from 12:30-2 pm ET. The panel will provide an in-depth review of the Biden administration’s EJ policies and analyze how the EPA’s enforcement focus on addressing pollution in overburdened communities could impact the regulated community.
