Stephanie Avakian, chair of WilmerHale’s Securities and Financial Services Department, will be participating as a panelist during the session, “Criminal and Regulatory Enforcement Concerns for Corporate Directors: What Should They Be Focused On and How Should They Handle Allegations of Corporate Misconduct?” on Tuesday, November 30 from 12–1 p.m. ET. This panel will cover the following topics:

  • Government enforcement priorities relevant to corporate directors
  • Advising and managing boards in connection with criminal and regulatory enforcement
  • Proper handling of whistleblower allegations and internal investigations into corporate misconduct
  • Enforcement issues arising out of the pandemic
