Goodenough College and Virtual
Speaking Engagement

On 22 October 2021, the Investment Treaty Forum brings together senior practitioners, arbitrators, academics and other experts to discuss time limits in international investment law. The topics will include retroactive application of law, application of treaties before entry into force (including provisional application), continuous breaches, the applicability of commercial law statutes of limitation in ISDS, sunset clauses in international investment agreements, and the consequences of mutually agreed termination of treaties. This will be a hybrid format offering an in-person option and a remote option for those who would like to participate virtually.

Danielle Morris will speak on “The effect of withdrawal from ICSID on ratione temporis jurisdiction of tribunals.”
