Global Investigations Review will host GIR Connect: New York 2021. This half-day event will bring together leading practitioners to discuss topics at the forefront of investigations law.
Stephanie Avakian, chair of WilmerHale’s Securities and Financial Services Department, will be moderating a panel titled, “The Biden Administration Report Card.” Just under a year into the new administration, this session will explore recent developments at the DOJ and the SEC, their enforcement priorities and personnel changes. In particular the panelists will discuss:
- Has the widely predicted uptick in white collar enforcement actions materialized?
- What areas of focus have we seen and do we expect to see?
