This virtual outreach event will cover the Financial Stability Board’s ongoing consultation on the Guidance on financial resources to support central counterparty (CCP) resolution and on the treatment of CCP equity in resolution.

The virtual outreach will involve two events on June 25 and 30, 2020. Special Counsel Petal Walker will participate in a panel on June 30 that will discuss possible mechanisms for adjusting the treatment of CCP equity in resolution and implementing policy for the treatment of CCP equity in resolution. The discussion will feature panelists representing CCPs, clearing members, buy-side firms, legal experts and academia.
