Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute will offer a joint commercialization course with Mount Sinai to ready participating researchers for the commercialization of their biomed and life science technologies. WilmerHale Partner Monica Grewal and Counsel Zachary Piccolomini will be guest lecturers for two sessions during the course: "Patent Strategies – Is It Protected?" on October 11 and "Case Study: Patent Prosecution History" on October 18. As guest lecturers, they will discuss filing provisional patents, broad and narrow patent claims, strategies to strengthen claims, communication with patent office, and patent applications.
