Alyssa R. Budihas
Counsel
Alyssa Budihas is a counsel who focuses her practice on criminal, regulatory and internal investigations. She has represented financial institutions, corporations and individuals in connection with inquiries conducted by the Department of Justice, Securities and Exchange Commission, US Congress, and other US and international agencies. Ms. Budihas's experience includes insider trading and financial fraud investigations, Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and public corruption probes, cybersecurity and data breach matters, and disputes involving the art market.
Ms. Budihas previously served as an intern at the US Attorney's Office for the Eastern District of New York where she assisted federal prosecutors with trials in the General Crimes and National Security and Cybercrime divisions. She was also a judicial intern for the Honorable Eric N. Vitaliano of the US District Court for the Eastern District of New York.
In law school, Ms. Budihas was a teaching assistant in art law to Professor Amy Adler. Ms. Budihas joined WilmerHale as a summer associate in 2012.
Prior to pursuing her legal education, Ms. Budihas worked for the Benenson Strategy Group as a senior analyst, advising corporate and political clients on policy and communications strategy.
