Tracey Aronson represents clients in securities enforcement matters, as well as other governmental and internal investigations, including matters involving the Securities and Exchange Commission, the Department of Justice, the Department of Labor, and state law enforcement agencies. 

Ms. Aronson joined the firm in 2007 after 13 years at the Securities and Exchange Commission, ultimately serving as Chief of Staff to Chairman Arthur Levitt. At the Securities and Exchange Commission, she held positions in the Office of General Counsel, representing the agency in a federal court and administrative litigation; in the Division of Enforcement, conducting a securities fraud investigations; and in policy roles within the agency’s executive staff, including head of the Office of Legislative Affairs and Counsel to Commissioner Harvey Goldschmid, where she was involved in rulemaking resulting from the Sarbanes-Oxley legislation and establishment of the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board.

Ms. Aronson represents public companies in complex securities enforcement matters and internal investigations involving foreign exchange trading, revenue recognition and other accounting matters, and internal controls.
