Virginia Del Pozo is a Spanish- and US-qualified lawyer who primarily focuses on antitrust and competition law, as well as on EU regulatory law. She regularly advises clients in global cartel investigations and complex merger proceedings before EU and US authorities and in state aid matters before the European Commission. She also has strong experience in foreign merger clearance in numerous jurisdictions, including Brazil, China and India. Her practice covers a broad range of industries, including manufacturing, commodities, telecommunications, transportation, energy and financial services.

Ms. Del Pozo acts in numerous litigation matters, representing corporate and institutional clients before the General Court and the Court of Justice of the European Union. She has also been involved in multi-jurisdictional investigations related to the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and money laundering.

Prior to joining WilmerHale, Ms. Del Pozo trained at the Directorate General for Competition of the European Commission and at the antitrust practice group of another leading international law firm in Brussels.
