WilmerHale Advises Thermo Fisher on its Inaugural CHF 1.070 Billion Offering of Bonds

WilmerHale acted as US special counsel to Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. in connection with its inaugural offer and sale of CHF-denominated bonds, in an offering that was the largest issuance by a foreign issuer of Swiss franc bonds in seven years. The offering consisted of CHF 330,000,000 aggregate principal amount of 1.6525% Bonds due 2028, CHF 415,000,000 aggregate principal amount of 1.8401% Bonds due 2032 and CHF 325,000,000 aggregate principal amount of 2.0375% Bonds due 2036, each to be listed on the SIX Swiss Exchange. The offering priced on February 27, 2024 and closed on March 7, 2024. UBS AG, acting through its business division, UBS Investment Bank, BNP Paribas (Suisse) SA and Deutsche Bank AG London Branch, acting through Deutsche Bank AG Zurich Branch, acted as the joint lead managers for the offering.
