Victoria Narancio focuses her practice on international arbitration and dispute resolution. Ms. Narancio's international arbitration practice includes representation in both institutional and ad hoc arbitrations (including under the ICC, LCIA, SIAC, NAI and UNCITRAL rules) sited in both common and civil law jurisdictions, and has particular experience with issues relating to Latin American jurisdictions. Ms. Narancio's international commercial arbitration practice covers a wide range of industries, including construction, insurance, financial services, oil and gas and energy.
Ms. Narancio has also acted in pro bono matters with the Media Legal Defence Initiative, notably representing Lohé Issa Konaté in the first freedom of expression case in the African Court on Human and People's Rights.
Ms. Narancio publishes regularly on topical issues of international arbitration law and practice. She is an assistant editor of the Journal of International Arbitration (Kluwer Law). Ms. Narancio has taught international commercial arbitration courses at the Centre for Transnational Legal Services (Georgetown University) in London and at the Catholic University of São Paulo (PUC-SP).
