Thomas Kost

Senior Associate


Thomas Kost focuses his practice on government-related litigation and investigations.

Mr. Kost joined the firm after completing clerkships with the Honorable Leonie M. Brinkema of the US District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia and the Honorable R. Guy Cole, Jr. of the US Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. He previously worked at WilmerHale as a summer associate.

While attending law school, Mr. Kost interned at the US Department of Justice in the Federal Programs Branch of the Civil Division. He also worked in the Chicago District Office of the US Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and at the Legal Assistance Foundation of Metropolitan Chicago.

Before pursuing his legal degree, Mr. Kost developed a financial education program for Earned Income Tax Credit beneficiaries as a member of the AmeriCorps VISTA program.
