Sarah E. Stafford

Sarah Stafford represents entities and individuals under investigation by the Securities and Exchange Commission, federal banking regulators, securities self-regulatory organizations, and state authorities. Ms. Stafford also has experience conducting internal corporate investigations. Ms. Stafford’s prior matters have involved allegations of financial fraud, disclosure improprieties, inadequate supervision and non-compliance with numerous regulatory requirements, including the Market Access Rule, Regulation SHO, trade reporting and record-keeping.

Ms. Stafford joined the firm in 2004. Prior to that, Ms. Stafford was associated with another major law firm in New York, where she focused on complex commercial litigation, including securities and antitrust disputes.

Ms. Stafford is admitted to practice in the state of New York and the District of Columbia.
