Sarah Judkins focuses her practice on energy, environment and natural resources law. Her experience includes advising clients across a broad spectrum of industries, including renewable energy, recreation, mining, and oil and gas, on a variety of regulatory issues that arise during permitting, development and compliance. Ms. Judkins experience also includes assisting clients in litigating matters before federal agencies and courts.         

Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Judkins served as a law clerk for the Honorable Carlos F. Lucero of the US Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit. She was previously a legal fellow for the Environmental Defense Fund's Climate and Air legal team and a law clerk for a Denver-based law firm, where she handled matters related to aviation, real estate and redevelopment, and public lands.

While attending law school, Ms. Judkins worked for a number of environmental organizations, including Earthjustice, the Colorado Public Utilities Commission, Getches-Green Natural Resources Law Clinic, and the Getches-Wilkinson Center for Natural Resources, Energy and the Environment. She was also an intern for the Honorable Gregory Hobbs of the Colorado Supreme Court and in the Natural Resources and Environment Section of the Colorado Office of the Attorney General.
