Robert Dunne is the firm's Chief Human Resources Officer. He is responsible for attracting, retaining, developing and motivating more than 1,000 staff employees. Mr. Dunne oversees all human resources functions worldwide, including HR strategy, recruiting, compensation, employee relations, training, leave administration, HRIS, policies and international HR. He designs and administers benefits for more than 2,100 attorneys and staff in 12 offices worldwide and also is responsible for the management of legal secretaries throughout the firm.
Mr. Dunne has more than 30 years of experience in the human resources field. In addition to his role as Chief Human Resources Officer at WilmerHale for the past 15 years, he served for two years as Director of Human Resources at ContentGuard, Inc., a joint venture between Xerox and Microsoft. Prior to ContentGuard, he spent 18 years at Xerox Corporation in a wide range of assignments, including leading human resources departments for major divisions, and managing major HR functions for the corporation worldwide. Throughout his career, Mr. Dunne has worked extensively with senior executives to drive the achievement of aggressive goals and objectives in a variety of organizational settings.
Mr. Dunne is a member of the Society for Human Resources Management, and a planning committee member for the Law Firm HR Roundtable.
