Matthew Worthington

Matt Worthington is a senior associate who focuses his practice on investigations and litigation.

He has represented clients in a broad range of matters, including before the Department of Justice, Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, Securities and Exchange Commission and other federal, state and foreign regulatory agencies. His practice also includes a diverse range of litigation matters in federal and state courts, including in the areas of antitrust, intellectual property, education, energy and complex class action litigation.

Mr. Worthington previously worked at WilmerHale as a summer associate. At Georgetown University Law Center, he was a student legislative lawyer in the school's Federal Legislation Clinic, where he represented a nonprofit organization in its effort to pass the Student Non-Discrimination Act through Congress. He also was a senate intern for former US Senator and current WilmerHale Partner Ken Salazar in Washington DC.

Prior to law school, Mr. Worthington also worked two sessions at the Colorado General Assembly, first as an intern for a legislative consulting firm, and then as the Director of Legislative Affairs for the Associated Students of Colorado State University where he represented the students of Colorado State University on higher education issues.
