Mark A. Dewire is a retired partner in the Corporate Practice Group. He joined the firm in 1996 and retired in 2013. Mr. Dewire had a broad corporate practice which included corporate finance, mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures and strategic alliances, with an emphasis on manufacturing, sports, technology, life sciences and international transactions.

Practice

Mr. Dewire represented public and private domestic and international companies and individuals in a variety of corporate and commercial transactions based in the United States and in other jurisdictions. Mr. Dewire was the lead lawyer for various companies in connection with mergers, acquisitions and divestitures and related integration and restructuring matters. He advised corporate boards and executives in connection with private capital raising and public offerings of securities. He advised clients on the formation, operation and termination of joint ventures and other strategic alliances. He advised clients on licensing, marketing, outsourcing, supply, manufacturing and other corporate agreements. Mr. Dewire advised companies and executives on corporate governance matters and other ongoing business affairs. On a pro bono basis, he has advised various not-for-profit entities.
