Lauren Lifland represents clients on a variety of bankruptcy and financial restructuring matters, with a focus on bankruptcy litigation. Her experience includes representing the interests of chapter 11 debtors, ad hoc groups of secured lenders, secured creditors and creditors' committees, among others, in all stages of complex litigation and bankruptcy proceedings.

Prior to joining WilmerHale, Ms. Lifland was an associate and law clerk at two other law firms in New York where she focused on representing a variety of clients in complex bankruptcy and financial restructuring matters.

In 2009, Ms. Lifland was a legal intern for the Honorable Arthur J. Gonzalez of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York. While there, she researched and authored legal memoranda, attended hearings and drafted opinions. Previously, and while attending Hamilton College, Ms. Lifland interned for Senator Patrick Leahy of the US Senate Judiciary Committee in Washington DC.
