Kellie McEvoy

Kellie McEvoy’s practice focuses on complex commercial litigation. She represents both private and public companies in the financial services and technology sectors.


Ms. McEvoy is currently representing a large financial services company in litigation and related investigations brought by the SEC and other state and federal agencies for claims related to breach of contract and fiduciary duty, ERISA and federal securities laws. Ms. McEvoy has also contributed to a successful defense against patent infringement for two technology firms in cases related to wireless networking standards and remote access technology.

Ms. McEvoy maintains an active pro bono practice, and has handled cases involving immigration, unemployment benefits and divorce proceedings.

Community Involvement

Ms. McEvoy is currently a member of the Development Committee for Prospect Hill Academy, where she helped constitute the Young Professionals Advisory Board, of which she is also a member.


While attending law school, Ms. McEvoy interned for a London-based legal aid center focusing on housing, immigration and employment law. Prior to attending law school, Ms. McEvoy taught earth science in Charlotte, North Carolina with Teach for America. While there, she chaired the school’s Positive Behavior Intervention and Support Committee.
