Julia Fauzia-Whatley

Julia Fauzia-Whatley represents a variety of clients based in the United States and abroad on complex litigation matters.

Ms. Fauzia-Whatley was a summer associate at WilmerHale in 2015. Prior to joining WilmerHale, Ms. Fauzia-Whatley was an extern to the Honorable William H. Orrick, III of the United States District Court for the Northern District of California. In that role, she researched and wrote memoranda for patent, environmental, social security and employment cases. Previously, Ms. Fauzia-Whatley was a paralegal at an employment and labor law firm in New York where she worked with a Special Master to ensure court order compliance in union discrimination cases.

Before beginning her legal career, Ms. Fauzia-Whatley was a sixth-grade special education teacher in Bronx, New York, where she taught math, English language arts, and social studies.

In 2007 and 2008, Ms. Fauzia-Whatley was a communications intern and immigration legal intern with the International Rescue Committee and the Catholic Legal Immigration Network.
