Jeremy Adler focuses his practice on securities litigation and enforcement matters, including civil litigation and investigatory work involving claims brought under the Securities Act of 1933 and the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, shareholder derivative lawsuits and antitrust actions.

Mr. Adler has defended numerous public companies in securities litigation in which courts have dismissed all claims against his clients at the pleading stage, as well as cases where his clients were able to negotiate favorable settlements after a partial dismissal. These successful representations include actions involving Top Ships, Inc. (all claims dismissed with prejudice; affirmed on appeal); Renewable Energy Group, Inc. (all claims dismissed with prejudice; affirmed on appeal); Activision Blizzard, Inc. (all claims dismissed with prejudice); Blue Apron Holdings, Inc. (favorable settlement after motion to dismiss decision rejected key theory of liability); and Dynagas LNG Partners LP (favorable settlement after court dismissed Exchange Act claims on the pleadings). Mr. Adler also has significant experience with all stages of discovery and trial, including a two-week trial in the Southern District of New York in which Mr. Adler was part of the trial team that successfully defeated efforts by various state attorneys general to block the merger of T-Mobile and Sprint on antitrust grounds.

Mr. Adler joined WilmerHale after working for several years as a litigation associate in the New York office of an international law firm. Mr. Adler previously served as a law clerk for the Honorable Jack B. Weinstein and the Honorable David G. Trager of the US District Court for the Eastern District of New York.
