Jeffrey S. Olshan

Jeff Olshan is an associate who focuses his practice on complex litigation matters, including securities litigation and regulatory enforcement. He has represented public companies and their officers and directors in connection with government investigations and securities fraud class actions.

Prior to joining WilmerHale as a summer associate in 2014, Mr. Olshan was a judicial intern for the Honorable Cynthia J. Cohen of the Massachusetts Appeals Court, assisting with a variety of civil and criminal issues and performing research for the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court's Committee to Study the Code of Judicial Conduct.

Mr. Olshan maintains an active pro bono practice focused on immigration and asylum law and civil rights litigation. Most recently, he helped achieve a grant of asylum for a client who had been in removal proceedings for over a decade without resolution.


Honors & Awards

  • In 2016, the Lawyers' Committee for Civil Rights and Economic Justice honored Mr. Olshan for his commitment to public service as a result of his work on a racial discrimination case brought against the Boston Police Department.
