Helam Gebremariam

Helam Gebremariam is a litigator with a wide range of experience representing financial, technology, social media, global security, university and pro bono clients in high-stakes investigations and litigation, including those involving state and federal regulators. Ms. Gebremariam also provides strategic counsel to clients on issues at the intersection of law, policy, business and governance.

Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Gebremariam was senior counsel to the Deputy Attorney General at the US Department of Justice (DOJ). She served previously as senior counsel in the DOJ's Office for Access to Justice.

Before her government service, Ms. Gebremariam was an associate at a New York law firm, where she represented corporate and individual clients in litigation, arbitration and government investigations involving securities, antitrust and the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act.
