Geoffroy Barthet is a French qualified lawyer who primarily focuses on antitrust and competition law, as well as on EU regulatory matters. 

Mr. Barthet regularly represents clients before the European Commission in merger control reviews and advises in cartel and abuse of dominance proceedings. He also has strong experience in state aid, in particular fiscal aid. His practice covers a broad range of industries, including pharmaceuticals, transport, digital, telecommunications, energy, and financial services.

Mr. Barthet acts in various litigation matters, representing corporate and institutional clients before the European Court of Justice and the General Court in Luxembourg.   

Mr. Barthet also assists large corporations, active in various jurisdictions, with internal and government investigations.

Prior to joining WilmerHale, Mr. Barthet worked in the antitrust practice of other leading international law firms in Paris and Brussels.
