David Smith is a consulting attorney in the firm's WilmerHale DiscoverySolutions department, focused on substantive and strategic areas of discovery for Litigation/Controversy matters. He joined the firm in 2007.
Mr. Smith focuses his practice on issues of e-discovery. Specifically, he strategically consults with other attorneys and litigation technology project managers on teams that manage electronic and other documents in large cases and investigations. Mr. Smith counsels firm attorneys and clients on best practices for e-discovery and the use of WilmerHale DiscoverySolutions.
Mr. Smith takes a leadership role in assisting clients with managing complex e-discovery processes to provide cost effective strategies and solutions to managing client information.
From 2002-2007, Mr. Smith was a contract attorney with large firms in the DC area, including WilmerHale.
