Daniel Williams’ practice focuses on advising clients with intellectual property matters, obtaining patent protection and intellectual property litigation. Mr. Williams provides strategic counseling regarding patent protection, validity, and procurement of intellectual property. With respect to prosecution, Mr. Williams has written patent applications in a wide range of technology areas including: micro-mirror devices, electrochemical cells, mobile communications, networks, and other electrical and mechanical devices.

Mr. Williams has experience arguing in front of the Patent Trial and Appeal Board. In addition, Mr. Williams has assisted with all aspects of IP litigation including discovery, claim construction and motions practice, and trial work.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Williams was an attorney in the electrical/mechanical group of a firm in Washington DC. He also worked for IBM, Microelectronics Division, before he attended law school. As an engineer, Mr. Williams supervised production of printed circuit boards and developed processes for increasing manufacturing efficiency.

Mr. Williams is a member of the Intellectual Property Owners Association (IPO) and the American Intellectual Property Law Association (AIPLA).
