Charlie Cox focuses his practice on complex litigation, intellectual property disputes and counseling related to pharmaceuticals, medical devices, communications technology and consumer products. He has represented clients in cases before US district courts, the US Court of Federal Claims and the Patent Trial and Appeal Board.

Mr. Cox also maintains an active pro bono practice, with particular focus on asylum matters.

Prior to joining WilmerHale, Mr. Cox was an intellectual property litigation associate at a large firm in Washington DC, and he completed externships with the US District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia and the NASA Langley Research Center. He also interned with the Office of Legal and Governmental Affairs for the Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles.
