Becca D. Kline

Becca Kline is a senior associate in WilmerHale's San Francisco Bay Area office. Her practice focuses on representing companies and individuals in government enforcement actions, internal investigations, and complex litigation. She has represented clients in a number of industries in matters involving the US Department of Justice, the US Securities and Exchange Commission, the California Attorney General's Office, the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, and other regulatory agencies. Ms. Kline has experience in matters related to internal controls, compliance and risk management, anti-money laundering, financial fraud, accounting irregularities, and disclosure issues. She joined the firm in 2013.

Ms. Kline is a member of the California Bar and the American Bar Association. She also represents WilmerHale on the Leadership Advisory Committee of the National Women’s Law Center.

  • Representing immigrant who was victim of domestic abuse seeking U Visa
  • Successfully petitioned court under California Proposition 36 to resentence California inmate serving life term under state's Three Strikes Law
  • Represented California gang member charged with RICO and VICAR conspiracy to commit murder in federal district court in Northern District of California
  • Represented California inmate in civil rights action alleging violations of 42 U.S.C. § 1983 based on deliberate indifference to serious medical need in violation of the Eighth Amendment
