Amanda Major is a trial lawyer whose practice focuses on intellectual property litigation and technology-related disputes. Ms. Major has represented both patent holders and accused infringers in many technology areas, including small molecule and biologic therapies, diagnostics, medical devices, semiconductors and communications protocols. She has experience litigating in federal district courts, in domestic and international arbitrations, before the US International Trade Commission, and before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board. Her practice also extends to pre-litigation analysis, counseling and licensing matters.

In May 2023, Litigation Daily (of The American Lawyer) recognized Ms. Major and the WilmerHale team as Litigator of the Week for their trial win for Dropbox, Inc. in the Western District of Texas. There, after a week-long trial, the jury ruled in favor of Dropbox, declaring non-infringement, the absence of entitlement to the priority date claimed by the plaintiff and the invalidity of the asserted patents.

Ms. Major is a member of WilmerHale's DC Hiring Committee and the Associates Committee.
