Allison Aviki

Allison Aviki focuses her practice on intellectual property litigation at the trial and appellate level. She has represented leading companies involved in patent, trademark, and copyright disputes. She has also advised on data privacy, the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act, and statutes applicable to media companies.

During her time at Harvard Law School, Ms. Aviki interned for the Honorable Rya W. Zobel of the US District Court for the District of Massachusetts. She also did work for the Office of the Attorney General of Massachusetts, Appeals Division, and was a contributor to SCOTUSblog. Ms. Aviki served as a research assistant to Professor Laurence H. Tribe and Professor I. Glenn Cohen, and taught Copyright Law on the edX platform under Professor William Fisher.

Previously, Ms. Aviki was a book editor with Beacon Press, where her authors included the Honorable Nancy Gertner and Geoffrey Canada of the Harlem Children's Zone.

Professional Activities

Ms. Aviki has spoken at the Nieman Conference at Harvard and the Women, Action, and the Media Conference at MIT. She has taught courses in writing at Lesley University and Newbury College. Her past board service has been for the Harvard/MIT Cooperative Society and Harvard Law School's Lambda. She has also lectured on cyber law at Northeastern University.
