Mass Mentoring Partnership Honors WilmerHale with Excellence in Empowering Youth-Adult Relationships Award

Mass Mentoring Partnership (MMP), an organization dedicated to empowering youth-adult relationships across Massachusetts, honored WilmerHale with their annual Excellence in Empowering Youth-Adult Relationships Award. The award is meant to recognize individuals and companies located in Massachusetts for their ongoing commitment to providing opportunities for youth to get support from adults.

Nominated by firm community partner Hyde Square Task Force, the firm shares the commitment to serve youth across Boston through leadership development and positive community-building events.

“I am proud to facilitate the firm's support of organizations that are improving youth-adult relationships to positively impact our community. WilmerHale has been working with Hyde Square Task Force since 2011 and continues to do so through programs like the Summer Leadership Institute,” said WilmerHale Public Service Manager Anne Bowie. “Thank you to the Mass Mentoring Partnership for recognizing what we're doing and for also playing a role to better the future generation.”

Based in Boston, MMP is fueling the movement to expand empowering youth-adult relationships across Massachusetts serving more than 250 mentoring and youth development programs statewide supporting more than 33,000 youth in mentoring relationships. MMP assess programmatic needs and organizational capacity, as well as provide customized strategies that empower youth, families and communities.

The award was presented to the firm on February 13, 2018 during the Corporate Mentoring Summit in Boston, Massachusetts.
