Jamie Gorelick to Discuss Privacy and Security Issues at the Trilateral Commission 2016 Plenary Meeting

WilmerHale Partner Jamie Gorelick will speak at the Trilateral Commission 2016 Plenary Meeting as a member of the distinguished panel entitled “The Impact of Big Data on Privacy and Security.” One of the longest-serving Deputy Attorneys General of the United States, Gorelick will provide insight on the effects of the evolving landscape of big data and its ongoing and elaborate role in privacy and security matters.

Joining Gorelick in the discussion are Tobby Simon, founder and president of the Synergia Foundation and member of the Global Commission on Internet Governance; Richard Dobbs, director of the McKinsey Global Institute; Ann Mettler, head of the European Political Strategy Centre at the European Commission; Katinka Barysch, director of political relations at Allianz SE; and Manuel Muñiz, director of the Programme on Transatlantic Relations at the Weatherhead Center for International Affairs at Harvard University.

The Trilateral Commission 2016 Plenary Meeting will take place April 15–17 at the Rome Cavalieri Waldorf Astoria Hotel in Rome, Italy. The three-day meeting includes more than 10 discussions on various security and international matters, bringing the world's top professionals together to engage in diversified discussion and panels.
