WilmerHale Advances on The American Lawyer’s A-List, Recognizing the Nation’s Elite Law Firms

Attorney News
WilmerHale has once again been recognized by The American Lawyer as one of nation’s most elite law firms, advancing to the 12th spot on the A-List. According to The American Lawyer, the A-List identifies law firms that, "represent the all-around best." This is the ninth year in which WilmerHale has been included on the A-List since the list was launched in 2003.

The American Lawyer’s rankings measure US law firms in four distinct areas: financial performance, pro bono commitment, associate satisfaction and diversity. To determine A-List rankings, they use the RPL rank from The Am Law 200, along with their Associate Survey, Pro Bono Survey and Diversity Scorecard. They double-weight scores for revenue per lawyer and pro bono to emphasize the importance of those two categories.

The American Lawyer has also announced the results of their annual Pro Bono survey, ranking WilmerHale as number 18 among the nation’s 200 highest-grossing firms. This ranking is based on the average pro bono hours per lawyer and the percentage of lawyers with more than 20 pro bono hours last year.
