The National Law Journal Recognizes Matthew Martens as a Litigation Trailblazer

The National Law Journal has named Matthew Martens to its list of 2017 Litigation Trailblazers. Those recognized were chosen based on their significant career accomplishments and innovations in the fight for justice.

As stated by The National Law Journal, "winners have shown a deep passion and perseverance in pursuit of their mission, having achieved remarkable successes along the way." 

Martens is an experienced litigator of complex, high-stakes criminal and civil matters, with more than 20 jury trials in both state and federal courts in New York, New Jersey, North Carolina, Florida, Illinois and California. He joined WilmerHale after a long career of government service, first in the US Department of Justice during the George W. Bush administration, and later as Chief Litigation Counsel for the Division of Enforcement at the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
