Securities Docket Includes Randall Lee and William McLucas on Enforcement 40 List

Firm News

Randall Lee and William McLucas, partners in WilmerHale's Securities Litigation and Enforcement Practice, were named to Securities Docket's Enforcement 40 list. The list represents the 40 best and brightest securities enforcement defense lawyers in the industry. More than 150 lawyers were considered for the 2017 list. Attorneys named are key players—both in the public eye and behind-the-scenes—in the most significant Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) enforcement matters over the past few decades.

Randall Lee is partner-in-charge of WilmerHale's Los Angeles office. He was an Assistant US Attorney for the Central District of California and was regional director of the SEC's Pacific Region. Within the past year alone, Lee accomplished a major trial win against the SEC and a declination in a Foreign Corrupt Practices Act investigation. He was recently named a Winning Litigator by The National Law Journal and named to the Daily Journal's Top 100 Lawyers in California.

William McLucas serves as chair of WilmerHale's Securities Department. He was Director of Enforcement for the SEC longer than any other Enforcement Division Director in commission history. He is one of the most sought-after advisors to public companies, boards of directors, audit committees and special committees dealing with corporate crises and related issues. Chambers USA: America's Leading Lawyers for Business describes McLucas as "a cut above everyone else."
