Firm Announces New Pickering Fellow

Firm News

Counsel Michael Gottesman has been named WilmerHale's next Pickering fellow. He is a member of the firm's Business Trial Group and Appellate and Supreme Court Litigation Practice.

Gottesman, who is based in the firm's New York office, will begin his fellowship at the Urban Justice Center (UJC) on February 9. The UJC serves New York City's most vulnerable residents through direct legal service, systemic advocacy, community education and political organizing. The organization provides one-on-one legal advice in soup kitchens, helps individuals access housing and government assistance, and files class action lawsuits.

The Pickering Fellowship, established in honor of WilmerHale Founding Partner John H. Pickering, allows attorneys from the firm's US offices to spend six months as lawyers at select public interest organizations.
