It is estimated that up to 75 percent of all broadcast stations will undergo financial restructuring this year or next, either through bankruptcy or negotiated changes in their debt. It is critical that investors understand how FCC rules could affect restructurings–for some investors, these rules are well known; but for others, the limits enforced by the FCC may come as a surprise and have significant potential implications. This seminar, presented by WilmerHale and Stifel Nicolaus, will provide attendees with an overview of the current state of the media industry followed by a discussion of how financial restructuring could affect those invested in the industry.
