The WilmerHale legal team that drafted BIO’s friend-of-the-court brief in Association for Molecular Pathology v. USPTO, commonly known as the Myriad Genetics case, will discuss the briefs and the oral argument in the case and, perhaps, the Federal Circuit’s decision.The progress of the case in the district court and Federal Circuit, the U.S. government’s evolving position, the future of the issue in the Supreme Court or Congress and related patent issues on the Supreme Court docket will be discussed.
