Nicolas Kirby

Senior Associate


Nicolas Kirby is a senior associate whose practice focuses on government and internal corporate investigations. He has recent experience representing clients in investigations by the Department of Justice and Securities Exchange Commission involving allegations of foreign bribery, antitrust violations, and accounting and securities fraud. He also has experience representing corporations in high-stakes and complex class action litigation.

Mr. Kirby also maintains an active pro bono practice, with a focus on adoption and guardianship for at-risk youth in the District of Columbia. He was recently highlighted by the Children's Law Center of DC for his work that resulted in the successful adoption of a young girl with numerous serious medical conditions, who had been neglected by her birth parents.

During law school, Mr. Kirby worked as an intern for the Honorable Todd E. Edelman in the Superior Court of the District of Columbia.
