Laila Ameri is a senior associate who focuses her practice on complex litigation matters, specifically in the areas of securities and intellectual property litigation.

Ms. Ameri was previously a summer associate at WilmerHale, where she conducted research relating to a variety of intellectual property, securities litigation and corporate matters. While studying for her law degree, she was a research assistant for Professor R. Polk Wagner at the University of Pennsylvania Law School, where she designed a Coursera curriculum on intellectual property law and conducted research on intellectual property theory and cases. During law school, Ms. Ameri also worked as a legal intern at the Massachusetts Committee for Public Counsel Services' Child and Family Law Division, where she researched and drafted memoranda on trial and appellate issues within child welfare law.

As the recipient of a Fulbright Research Scholarship, Ms. Ameri spent nine months in Amman and Zarqa, Jordan, where she worked as an interpreter and English teacher for the Iraqi Aid Organization, helping refugee families navigate United Nations resettlement procedures, and created an American English program at Hashemite University.
