Joanna Garcia is a discovery attorney manager for the WilmerHale DiscoverySolutions team. She joined the firm in 2016.

Practice

Ms. Garcia focuses on providing e-discovery and document review support for firm clients across industries and practices. She leverages our in-house cutting-edge technology or third party document review technologies to efficiently provide the most cost effective and accurate document review to our clients. She works seamlessly with our matter teams to build greater efficiency into the process than has ever been possible before. As a WilmerHale employee, she benefits from the ongoing training and development the firm provides its attorneys and staff, and works with the high expectations of performance and quality that pervade the firm. She also provides ongoing support to case teams after document review is complete to supplement the teams' factual knowledge and context for depositions, briefs and trial.

Community Involvement

Ms. Garcia is an active member in St. Luke Parish in Beavercreek where she sits on the Pastoral Council, and serves as a lector and Eucharistic Minister. She volunteers her time making prayer shawls and cooking meals for the homeless. Ms. Garcia previously taught third grade for the St. Luke Parish School of Religion.

Ms. Garcia also serves as the Recording Secretary for the John Pirelli Lodge in Dayton and is an Advisor for the Chi Omega Sorority at University of Dayton.

Professional Activities

Ms. Garcia is a member of the Dayton Bar Association and was a participant in the DBA Leadership Development Program.
