Janine Lopez is a senior associate who focuses her practice on commercial and intellectual property litigation at the trial and appellate levels. 

Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Lopez served as a law clerk to the Honorable Merrick B. Garland of the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit.

Ms. Lopez was a summer associate at WilmerHale in 2013. The previous summer, she was a legal intern with the Mexican American Legal Defense and Educational Fund, where she assisted with a voting rights trial and other matters. During law school, Ms. Lopez gained pre-trial litigation experience by completing clinical internships with a civil rights firm in Boston and the Harvard International Human Rights Clinic. She also interned with the Criminal Appeals Division of the Massachusetts Attorney General's Office, where she worked on appellate briefs filed in state and federal court.

Ms. Lopez maintains an active pro bono practice, with an emphasis on civil rights and immigrants' rights litigation.
