Carter, Janet R.

Janet Carter’s practice focuses on complex commercial litigation and arbitration, with an emphasis on cross-border disputes and cases involving international and foreign law issues. She has represented a diverse group of clients, including pharmaceutical companies, telecommunications companies and universities, in cases involving contract, tort, employment, art and antiquities law, and constitutional law. She also has extensive experience in appellate litigation.

Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Carter clerked for Justice O'Connor at the US Supreme Court and Judge Posner at the US Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit.
