Attorney News

On May 30, a team of WilmerHale lawyers and staff participated in the 5th Annual Boston Lawyers Have Heart 5K Road Race…and won!

This annual road race benefits the American Heart Association, whose mission is to “building healthier lives, free of cardiovascular diseases and stroke.” The WilmerHale team, comprised of 21 attorneys and staff, raised more than $2,770 in donations to aid in the fight against heart disease and stroke.

WilmerHale's team not only won the race, but swept the male 30-39 age group category, with Andrew Golden finishing third, Brett Budzinski finishing second, and Patrick Callahan finishing first (the threesome also finished 8th, 7th and 4th, respectively, out of all 1,700 runners).

“Having a hand in this event was very rewarding,” said Amy Auth, Professional Development and Training Manager in the Boston office. “We had a great bunch of runners and terrific evening helping a wonderful cause. I share my congratulations and thanks to all who participated and supported this event."

The WilmerHale team included the following: Amy Auth, Megan Barriger, Kevin Bernier, Brian Boyle Jr., Brett Budzinski, Patrick Callahan, Ashley Castle, Caroline Curry, Michael Dube, Michael Estell, Christina Frangos, Andrew Golden, Miranda Hooker, Rebecca Kraus, Chris Looney, Colin McCarthy-Beauvais, Seth Moskowitz, Karen Rameika, Eliza Scheibel, Tyler Sparrow, Amit Tantri and Kerry Tipper.
