WilmerHale and the Federal Communications Bar Association (FCBA) Judicial Practice Committee held an event at WilmerHale's Washington DC office last night. Federal Communications Commission attorneys Richard Welch and Jake Lewis opened the event with a discussion of recent appellate decisions of interest to the telecommunications bar. A panel session followed on the Supreme Court's recent City of Arlington decision, which deals with the application of Chevron to questions of agency authority. US Solicitor General Donald Verrilli participated in the panel along with WilmerHale Partner Jon Nuechterlein and other distinguished appellate lawyers.
