National Association of Women Lawyers Honors Jamie Gorelick

WilmerHale Partner Jamie Gorelick was honored by the National Association of Women Lawyers (NAWL) with the Mansfield Award on July 21, 2011. The Arabella Babb Mansfield Award is NAWL's oldest award and is given in recognition of professional achievement, positive influence and valuable contribution to women in the law and society. The award is named after the first American woman admitted to a state bar in the United States, and previous winners include Justice Elena Kagan, Justice Sonia Sotomayor and Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, along with many other distinguished leaders.

NAWL is a national voluntary legal professional organization devoted to promoting the interests and progress of women lawyers and women's legal rights.

Gorelick received the award in front of approximately 1,000 attendees from across the country at NAWL’s annual dinner in New York City.
