Harry T. Daniels is Honored as “Diversity Hero”

Attorney News

WilmerHale Partner Harry T. Daniels is honored in the second annual list of Lawyers Weekly Diversity Heroes. This year’s Diversity Heroes are recognized for having “shown an ability to rise well above any bigotry hurled their way. Embarking on career paths of their own choosing, they have gone on to achieve much as members of the legal-judicial community in Massachusetts.”

From his childhood in Troy, Alabama, to his acceptance to Northeastern University School of Law with an all-tuition-paid Martin Luther King Fellowship, to becoming the first person of color to be elected a Partner at Hale and Dorr in 1981, Daniels’ is quite a story to tell. Still a Partner in WilmerHale’s Litigation and Securities Departments, he offers a unique perspective on the legal landscape in Boston and himself as a mentor to young lawyers at the firm.
