Five WilmerHale partners will participate in the 62nd ABA Section of Antitrust Law Spring Meeting, held March 26-28 at the JW Marriott Hotel in Washington DC. The Spring Meeting is recognized as the largest antitrust and consumer protection conference in the world, with more than 2,500 registered attendees.
Partner Hartmut Schneider will be co-chairing the Spring Meeting for the second consecutive year and will co-moderate the traditional "Hot Topics" panel discussion from 3:15–5 p.m. on Thursday, March 27. In addition, the following partners will be participating on panels during this year's event:
Wednesday, March 26
- Partner Mark Ford (BOS) will participate on a panel from 9–10:30 a.m., titled "Counseling on Reverse-Payment Settlements Around the World."
- Partner Eric Mahr (DC) will speak on a panel from 1:45–3:15 p.m., titled "Civil Litigation in the Aftermath of Criminal Prosecution."
Thursday, March 27
- Partner Molly Boast (NY), who held senior positions in the Antitrust Division of the Department of Justice and the Bureau of Competition of the Federal Trade Commission, will join a panel from 8:15–9:45 a.m. to discuss "Vertically Challenged: Distribution Agreements in the US and Abroad."
- Partner Heather Tewksbury (Palo Alto), who recently joined WilmerHale from the Criminal Division of the US Department of Justice, will participate on a panel from 1:30–3 p.m., titled "Death by 1,000 Fines: Are Companies Overpaying?"
This year's three-day Spring Meeting of the ABA Section of Antitrust Law features more than 50 substantive sessions across a wide range of hot topics in antitrust and consumer protection law, both here in the US and abroad.
